I am a Wales-based freelance travel journalist who has contributed to a wide variety of publications, from the Daily Mail to a customer magazine for chef Raymond Blanc.

A graduate in French and Spanish from the University of Leeds, I am a passionate Francophile and write mainly about France for magazines including Living France, France Magazine and French Entrée.

I am also a guidebook writer and I'm author of Thomas Cook Pocketguide Swansea (2011) and co-author of Frommer’s Provence & the Côte d’Azur with your Family (2008). I've updated guidebooks for several major travel publishers, details of which you can see here.

Copywriting, including writing for the web, is another service I offer and I've recently written text for the new websites of Brittany Tourism and villa company Côte d'Azur Collection. You can see examples here.

My main areas of interest, apart from France, are Western Europe, city breaks, rail travel, winter sports, retreats and spas, food and ‘luxury for less’.
